Teacher in the Digital Era

The first hour was taken by Joju Sir. He has given some general instructions about the MCQ test  and regarding the second semester. Later on, he has taught us about "Teacher in the digital era ". A. Challenging Times and B. New Competencies. And the sub topics covered were

Who is a digital era teacher? 
The Paradigm shift in learning. 
20th century Teacher Centered Learning. 
Comparison between Traditional learner and 21st century learner.
Are teachers insignificant today. 

And through some interactive section the class came to an end. 



The second hour followed was Optionals. And had a discussion about the MCQ test and portions. Later on continued  the  presentations of Revised taxonomy. The topics covered today are 

Specifications in the objectives of teaching English 
Process skills 
Thinking skills. 

All of them has presented well. Thus the class ended.

In today's class we had learned about  web 2.0 web 3.0  web 4.0  Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI).   All of them has presented well in a crisp and clear manner.  The second section was taken by Ancy ma'am. And she has taught us about the Contributions of  Mahatma Gandhi.  According to Mahatma Gandhi, " Education is an all round drawing out of the best in child and man-made body, mind and spirit. There are four elements in Gandhi's philosophy, 1. Truth 2. Non-violence 3. Fearlessness 4. Satyagraha. Be a teacher with values 😇♥️

12/3/2021 Friday   The day started with prayer in the chappel.  The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. This is our first day after the school induction, so that teachers are waiting to hear our experiences. And Maya ma'am asked to voluntarily come forward to share the experience and Fathima from the Natural science optional has shared her experience from the Sarvodaya ICSE School Nalanchira. Later on Maya ma'am has taught us Educational Sociology, relationship between education and sociology and functions of education. The second hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She also asked about the school induction. Man is the maker and master of his own destiny

 From 23  February 2021 to 3 March 2021 we the MTTC Hostelers were in Quarantine. So that we can't attend to class and we were in home quarantine  for seven days.     4/3/2021 Thursday After seven days of quarantine, we are back to the college. The day started with prayer in the chappel . First hour was Yoga. Sir has teached us the importance of yoga in the life of an individual. Then after practicing the section, we ended up the yoga section by doing Shavasana. The second hour till afternoon, Demonstration class of our seniors has taken.
