"Salt Principle"

The day started with prayer. First hour was Yoga, due to some pending works related to   the NCTE visit ,some of us stayed to complete the works. The second hour was taken by Maya ma'am. She started the class by asking the question, what is Motivation? and it is the driven force to accomplish something. Then She taught us the demerits of Naturalism and entered to the third school of philosophy that is,  Realism. And she shared the over all idea of realism.   

The third hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She taught us the Language Development and it's features. Then she introduced Vygotsky (psychologyist) and Noam Chomsky (American Linguist) and their contributions to language. Vygotsky contributed four stages for the development of language. Noam Chomsky said that humans acquire language through a process called Language Acquisition Device (LAD). According to Chomsky, children learn language by five steps. Thus she completed her portions in psychology. 

The fourth hour was taken by Archana ma'am . She taught us for the first time. She taught us  Psychology, it's branches and schools of psychology . Then she moved to Structuralism and Functionalism. The fifth hour was taken by Giby ma'am. She taught us the Learning Process  of educational psychology. Then she asked us, how to  give water to a horse and she compared the horse with students and said us to imagine ourselves as teachers, and asked us to give water to the horse even though they didn't needed. Like that how we put information in students without letting them know about it. By hearing lots of answers, she said us to use the Salt Principle . That is ,without distracting the students, we must put information.

The sixth hour was library. During the last two hours, the selection process of Club were taken place. Our respected Principal  Benedict Sir has taken initiative to introduce the clubs to us. There were 12 Clubs. And we were suppose to participate atleast in one club according to our interest.And I had given names to four clubs, Exo club, Creative club, Psychology club and Health club.  And we were separated to 12 groups according to our clubs and selected a president, vice-president and secretary. And I belong to the Eco Club. 

Thus the day ended.

Be a teacher with values 😇♥️

12/3/2021 Friday   The day started with prayer in the chappel.  The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. This is our first day after the school induction, so that teachers are waiting to hear our experiences. And Maya ma'am asked to voluntarily come forward to share the experience and Fathima from the Natural science optional has shared her experience from the Sarvodaya ICSE School Nalanchira. Later on Maya ma'am has taught us Educational Sociology, relationship between education and sociology and functions of education. The second hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She also asked about the school induction. Man is the maker and master of his own destiny

 From 23  February 2021 to 3 March 2021 we the MTTC Hostelers were in Quarantine. So that we can't attend to class and we were in home quarantine  for seven days.     4/3/2021 Thursday After seven days of quarantine, we are back to the college. The day started with prayer in the chappel . First hour was Yoga. Sir has teached us the importance of yoga in the life of an individual. Then after practicing the section, we ended up the yoga section by doing Shavasana. The second hour till afternoon, Demonstration class of our seniors has taken.
