Fishing = Teaching

 17/2/2021 Wednesday 

First Assembly of MTTC. MEd students has conducted the assembly and they did it well. The first two periods were optionals. And we had done  with the rest of the group discussion. The third hour was taken by Reju Sir on "Theatre and Performing Arts". It was a beautiful class. The fourth hour was taken by Giby ma'am. She has revised last days portions and teached us Learning Experience. And after that she has given us some general instructions on teaching. And said that teaching is like fishing that means when we go for fishing we give what fish need in order to catch the fish. Like that,  teacher must teach what the students need. So that we can say that fishing =teaching. 

She said of Brunerian Theory - "Anything can be taught at any level to any student providing proper learning experiences in a most honest way".

The fifth hour was taken by Maya ma'am. Ma'am has asked us to sing songs related to Kerala and Some of our friends has singed and four students has danced over the song 'Kera nirakal aadum' . All of them sung well and then  She taught us the Role of Teacher, Discipline and Merits of Naturalism. 

The six hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She has teached us the educational implications of Kohleberg's stages of moral development. And then she has conducted an online Quiz on  the basis of the portions we had covered . It was a good experience. 

The seventh and eighth hour was taken by Joju Sir. And he has said us the general instructions  of BEd course. And he has given us the assignment topics. 

Thus the day ended.

In today's class we had learned about  web 2.0 web 3.0  web 4.0  Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI).   All of them has presented well in a crisp and clear manner.  The second section was taken by Ancy ma'am. And she has taught us about the Contributions of  Mahatma Gandhi.  According to Mahatma Gandhi, " Education is an all round drawing out of the best in child and man-made body, mind and spirit. There are four elements in Gandhi's philosophy, 1. Truth 2. Non-violence 3. Fearlessness 4. Satyagraha. Be a teacher with values 😇♥️

12/3/2021 Friday   The day started with prayer in the chappel.  The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. This is our first day after the school induction, so that teachers are waiting to hear our experiences. And Maya ma'am asked to voluntarily come forward to share the experience and Fathima from the Natural science optional has shared her experience from the Sarvodaya ICSE School Nalanchira. Later on Maya ma'am has taught us Educational Sociology, relationship between education and sociology and functions of education. The second hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She also asked about the school induction. Man is the maker and master of his own destiny

 From 23  February 2021 to 3 March 2021 we the MTTC Hostelers were in Quarantine. So that we can't attend to class and we were in home quarantine  for seven days.     4/3/2021 Thursday After seven days of quarantine, we are back to the college. The day started with prayer in the chappel . First hour was Yoga. Sir has teached us the importance of yoga in the life of an individual. Then after practicing the section, we ended up the yoga section by doing Shavasana. The second hour till afternoon, Demonstration class of our seniors has taken.
