A Dream Come True

 The day started with prayer. After the prayer everyone has assembled near the English Studio for the ingauration of the Phonetics Open Lab, a softskill or competency development initiative of the college from three decades. Finally, a dream come true moment for the entire MTTC family. 

  The first hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She taught us Kohleberg's stages of moral development. It has three levels and and six stages. Level 1 is pre-conventional morality and it is divided into two stages, punishment obedience orientation and instrumental relativist orientation. Level 2 is conventional morality and it has also two stages,  good boy -nice girl orientation and law and order orientation. Level 3 is post conventional morality and it is divided into two stages, social contrast orientation and universal ethical principle orientation. And then she has given the explanation of each levels till level 3 that is, post conventional morality. 

The second hour was taken by Joju Sir. And he started with a shuba chintha 'thanal'. Then he taught us Educational Technology. And it is the system of five M's. The five M are Men, Method, Material, Media and Machine. After explaining each M's ,he taught us the Four Revolutions in Education. They are 1. Education shifting from parents to teachers. 2.Development of writings. 3.Printing press. 4. ICT in education. And then he taught us the three meanings of educational technology. Level 1.Strategies and tactics of teaching. Level 2. Mechanization. Level 3. Technology as a meditator blending the size of learning and the arts of teaching.  The techniques to improve the quality of teachers are software approach, hardware approach and systems approach. 

" Education is the biggest tool with which we can change the world".

The third hour was taken by Maya ma'am. She taught us the aims of education, curriculum, subjects, methods of teaching from the area of Naturalism. The fourth and fifth hours was Optional and ma'am has given us a group work. She has divided us into four groups and given each group a topic to discuss and finally the leader's of the first two group has presented the topic.

The six hour was taken by Giby ma'am. She taught us the Scope of Educational Psychology of a teacher and it's characteristics.  The seventh hour was taken by Joju Sir, he has given some general awareness of  the topic Media.

In today's class we had learned about  web 2.0 web 3.0  web 4.0  Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI).   All of them has presented well in a crisp and clear manner.  The second section was taken by Ancy ma'am. And she has taught us about the Contributions of  Mahatma Gandhi.  According to Mahatma Gandhi, " Education is an all round drawing out of the best in child and man-made body, mind and spirit. There are four elements in Gandhi's philosophy, 1. Truth 2. Non-violence 3. Fearlessness 4. Satyagraha. Be a teacher with values 😇♥️

12/3/2021 Friday   The day started with prayer in the chappel.  The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. This is our first day after the school induction, so that teachers are waiting to hear our experiences. And Maya ma'am asked to voluntarily come forward to share the experience and Fathima from the Natural science optional has shared her experience from the Sarvodaya ICSE School Nalanchira. Later on Maya ma'am has taught us Educational Sociology, relationship between education and sociology and functions of education. The second hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She also asked about the school induction. Man is the maker and master of his own destiny

 From 23  February 2021 to 3 March 2021 we the MTTC Hostelers were in Quarantine. So that we can't attend to class and we were in home quarantine  for seven days.     4/3/2021 Thursday After seven days of quarantine, we are back to the college. The day started with prayer in the chappel . First hour was Yoga. Sir has teached us the importance of yoga in the life of an individual. Then after practicing the section, we ended up the yoga section by doing Shavasana. The second hour till afternoon, Demonstration class of our seniors has taken. The class was a new experience for us and we were happy that we all went back to our school days for a while. All of them had taken classes well.  The fifth hour was taken by Maya ma'am.
