Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached

 21/1/2021 Thursday

The day began with the Optional Class. Tintu Miss started the class by revising the previous topic and after that  she began the class with "Types of Approaches"and the first approach is Humanistic Approach. After the detailed explanation of the topic she moved to another topic "Total Physical Response" put forward  by James Asher . And later she discussed about the benefits of TPR. Before leaving the class she once again went through all the topics covered today. 

The next class is taken by Dr. Ancy.A.S. The class began with the welcome of new students and she makes them comfortable and has given a brief note of all the topics covered earlier. Then she started her class by asking the question what are the developmental tasks of a teenager?  And after the discussion, she moved on to the topic Developmental Hazards. Then after the explanation, she went through the theories of development. She started with the theory of Jean Piaget's Stages  of Cognitive Development. 

Then after the explanation of the topic the class ended. 

The third class was taken by Dr. Maya. S. She began her class by asking the advantages and disadvantages of online class. Then she said of some general instructions of the course and she said the objective of the course is to become an effective teacher. Then she gives the round up of the topics covered earlier and today she has taken class on Sociological Process. She said the importance of Smile in once life. Then she explained the Meaning of Education. Education is a life long process. Then she said about different views on education by few thinkers. The best definition of education by Mahatma Gandhi is that " All round drawing out of the best in the child and man -body, mind and spirit. The class ended with the famous  quotation from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

Asatoma Sad Gamaya, Thamasoma Jyotir Gamaya,  Mrithyorma Amritam Gamaya

The meaning of the quotation  is that " From ignorance lead me to truth. From darkness lead me to light. From death lead me to eternity". 

Thus todays class ended. It was a beautiful day.

Be a teacher with values 😇♥️

12/3/2021 Friday   The day started with prayer in the chappel.  The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am. This is our first day after the school induction, so that teachers are waiting to hear our experiences. And Maya ma'am asked to voluntarily come forward to share the experience and Fathima from the Natural science optional has shared her experience from the Sarvodaya ICSE School Nalanchira. Later on Maya ma'am has taught us Educational Sociology, relationship between education and sociology and functions of education. The second hour was taken by Ancy ma'am. She also asked about the school induction. Man is the maker and master of his own destiny

 From 23  February 2021 to 3 March 2021 we the MTTC Hostelers were in Quarantine. So that we can't attend to class and we were in home quarantine  for seven days.     4/3/2021 Thursday After seven days of quarantine, we are back to the college. The day started with prayer in the chappel . First hour was Yoga. Sir has teached us the importance of yoga in the life of an individual. Then after practicing the section, we ended up the yoga section by doing Shavasana. The second hour till afternoon, Demonstration class of our seniors has taken. The class was a new experience for us and we were happy that we all went back to our school days for a while. All of them had taken classes well.  The fifth hour was taken by Maya ma'am.
